Project 4
The scenario-based game puts learners in the role of a product manager finding opportunities to solve problems. By the end of the possible 14-outcome game, learners will identify the four steps of the product discovery process, known as the Double Diamond Design Process, while considering time and cost factors. Ultimately, their success will be measured by their predicted revenue.

In this scenario-based training project, learners take on the role of a sales associate navigating two key objectives: maximizing sales by serving customers efficiently while adhering to the store’s strict theft prevention policy.
Shoplifting leads to wage deductions, but excessive caution can slow down interactions, reducing both efficiency and potential sales.

The U.S. Department of Education mandates that college instructors who teach online courses meet the regulatory requirements known as regular and substantive interaction. As an instructional designer, I designed a training course to help college instructors gain a basic understanding of these requirements and apply them in their courses to ensure compliance.
